| Bio: |  Name: Emmeline Claire Keddle Date of Birth: 29 June, 1984 Physical Description: 5'2", 120 pounds, dark hair cut to just below her shoulders, brown eyes, pale complexion, lots of freckles... she's small and wears a lot of dark clothing, long skirts and concealing sweaters. She has a habit of trying to fade into the background and hide her accent - born and raised in Essex. Hometown: Basildon, Essex  Emmeline - Emmy to friends - is twenty-six years old. Her father was a Watcher, but circumstance led to his death early in her life, before he was ever assigned his Slayer charge. Though she lost much so early on, still she has his books, his notes, and the knowledge drilled into her head by her mother that her father, Richard, had been looked down upon by his peers due to his working class background. Emmeline grew up in the town of Basildon with her older brother Bailey and her mother, a shrill little shrew of a woman who resented Emmeline's father for dying, his life's work, and the destiny that was to await Emmeline herself; Emmy was meant to have been a Watcher. To avoid Emmeline's future calling, her mother uprooted the remaining family and brought them to the rural town of Cheektowaga, New York when Emmeline was 16. Baily was 18 and thoroughly immersed in the dark side of the world and was killed by an unknown demon on June 28, 2001. Nine months following her brother's death, Emmeline's mother succumbed to pneumonia in a Buffalo, New York hospital, leaving Emmeline alone with no money and no hope of a college education. She worked her way across the country, tapping a few of her father's old contacts left in his notes, and eventually learned that big things were happening out West and wanted to be there, to help if she could. Emmy currently owns and runs the only occult shop in town, Unseen Insight. She rents a house that she shares with a never ending stream of short-term lodgers. Emmy drives a Toyota Prius.
